Join the residents of The Studio for our first retreat day of 2024. This day is all about YOU! Each session will guide you to explore introspection and attune to your body and thoughts. Engage in dance and yoga to move your body then calm the mind through a transformative sound healing journey.

 

This day is all about appreciating our bodies for their incredible capabilities, allowing movement and energy to flow freely throughout the body. Our aim is to help you feel uplifted, inspired, a true sense of calm & overall wellbeing.

 

You do not need to have any past experience of dance fitness or yoga, come as you are and leave centered and proud that you tried something new.

👯‍♀️ Body Spirit - Get ready to embrace the power of self-love, affirmations, and positive energy as we celebrate what our bodies can do for us. Charlotte will guide you through a series of dance fitness routines that are designed to make you feel empowered and alive. With every move, you'll be encouraged to embrace your body's unique strength and grace. This class is not about perfection; it's about celebrating progress and appreciating the beauty of your unique journey.

 

🧘‍♂️Grounding Yoga Practice: Immerse yourself in gentle flows and rooted poses that connect you with the earth, fostering a sense of stability and balance, and elevate your energy with open, expansive postures designed to shake off any lingering sluggishness as we embrace the season of spring 🌱

 

🫁 Revitalising Breathwork: Explore rejuvenating breath techniques to invigorate your body and calm your mind, creating space for renewal.

 

🕯️Candlelit Soundbath: Experience the serenity of a candlelit sound bath, promoting inner peace and mindfulness. The vibrations of a sound bath helps the body to drop out of the fight-flight sympathetic nervous system (i.e. the stress response) and drop into the parasympathetic nervous system (the rest-digest state) which is where healing occurs. The balancing of the body's nervous system reduces stress and supports sleep and grounds us, helping our body's return to a state of balance and harmony.

 

☕ Nourishing Lunch & Refreshments: Indulge in a nourishing lunch, herbal teas and homemade sweet treats.
